Lizzie was 29 and born in Leig Brars, Peeblesshire [sic - probably a poor transcription of Loig, Perthshire]. In their household were their children Janie F (7), Jessie G (7), Lewa A (4), and Mary R D (1 month), Lizzie's mother Mary Kinross (53), and a general servant [note: the first three children were Thomas' by his first wife].2 |
