They were married in the parish church by licence and the witnesses were Charles Bull and Martha Ralines[?].4 
1871 CensusJames and Lucretia appeared on the 1871 Census of St Pancras Civil Parish, Middlesex, at 62 Castle Rd, enumerated 2 Apr 1871. James was 21, a Clerk (Railway Clearing House), and was born in Scotland. Lucretia was 22 and born in Strand, Middlesex. They had one daughter, Lucretia M (1).5 
1881 CensusR and Lucretia Reid appeared on the 1881 Census of Acton, Middlesex, at Mill Hill Road, enumerated 3 Apr 1881. Robert was 31, a Clerk, and born in Perth, Scotland. Lucretia was 32 and born in St Pancras, Middlesex. Their daughters were L.M. (11), S.J.A. (10), E (9), Kate (7), E (5) and J (1). Also with them was Robert's unmarried brother Thomas (35, clerk).2 
(Widowed) DeathHer husband Robert died in 1886.6,7 
Research Note Elizabeth, Sarah Julia, and Robert William Graham were baptised in the year after Robert died. 
1891 CensusLucretia Reid appeared on the 1891 Census of Willesden, Middlesex, at Mansfield Villa, enumerated 5 Apr 1891. Lucretia was a widow, age 42, a Lodging House Proprietress, and was born in St Pancras, London. Her children at home were Lucretia M (21, upholdstresses assistant), Elizabeth (18, dressmaker assistant), Ethel (15), Lilian (8), and Robert W G (4). Also with them was nephew Alexander Cumming [son of Robert's sister] (19, Railway Clerk) and one boarder.8 
1901 CensusLucretia appeared on the 1901 Census of West Hendon, Middlesex, at 28 York Road. She was a widow, age 52, and born in Camden Town, London. With her were Ethel (23) and Robert W (14, mineral bottle wirer).9 
Burial.She was buried on 21 Mar 1919 in Acton St Mary, Middlesex. She was 70 years old and her abode was Bromley.10
