Janet was 40 and born in Monivaird [sic]. Their children were Mary (15), Helen (13), and James (9). Also in the household were one house servant, four farm servants, and two women and three children listed as lodgers and beggars. Their daughter Janet was with James' sister Margaret at Blackhill.5 |

Their children at home were Janet (21) and James (19). There were also two domestic servants, an agricultural labourer, and a ploughman. The house was noted to have 6 rooms with windows.6 |
