Thomas Graham, born 1830, eldest son of Walter G., farmer, parish of Kilmadock; educ. at Univ of Glasgow; M.A. (1854); licen by Presb. of Dunblane; ord 13 Jan 1859; served at Martyrs' Church [which was opened in 1839]; died 5th May 1876. He marr. Miss Nairn, and had issue -- Catherine McKirdy; Walter; Mary Mathers; Elizabeth; Thomas McKirdy.1 
BirthThomas Graham was born on 24 Jul 1828 in Wester Argaty, Kilmadock, Perthshire.
His mother's name was recorded as Elizabeth Ferguson.2 
(with Parents) 1841 CensusThomas appeared on the 1841 Census of Kilmadock, Perthshire in the household of his parents. He was 10 years old and born in Perthshire.3 
1851 CensusHe appeared on the 1851 Census of Glasgow St David, Lanarkshire, at 272 Buchanan Street. He was 20 years old, a student of divinity, a lodger, and born in Edinburth. [Cannot be certain that this is the right fellow...age a bit low and wrong birthplace but it may have been his landlords who gave the information].4 
1861 CensusThomas Graham, MA appeared on the 1861 Census of Glasgow, Lanarkshire, at 64 Buccleuch Street. He was a lodger and the Minister of Martyrs Church, age 31, born in Kilmadock, Perthshire.5

1871 CensusThomas and Catherine M Graham appeared on the 1871 Census of Glasgow Springburn, Lanarkshire, at 8 Clayton Terrace. They had 3 children, Catherine (5), Walter (3), and Mary (1) as well as a domestic servant.
