1871 CensusRobert and Agnes Macfarlane appeared on the 1871 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Stockbridge. Robert was 57, a farmer of 100 acres employing 2 men and 1 boy, and was born in Dunblane. Agnes was 43 and born in Kilmadock. Their children were William (6), Elizabeth (4), and Margaret (1). Also in the household were two ploughmen and a domestic servant.7 
1881 CensusRobert and Agnes appeared on the 1881 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Drumlochy Cottage. Robert was 68, a carter, and born in Dunblane. Agnes was 55, born in Doune. Their children were William (16, apprentice clerk), Elizabeth (14, scholar), and Margaret (11, scholar).8 
(Widowed) DeathHer husband Robert died in Nov 1897.9 
1901 CensusAgnes McFarlane appeared on the 1901 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Drumlochie. She was 70, a dairy keeper, and was born in Kilmadock. With her were her children William (36, conveyancing clerk) and Margaret (30, dairymaid).10 
DeathAgnes died in Jul 1916 in Drumlochy Cottage, Dunblane, Perthshire.9
 
BurialShe was buried on 10 Jul 1916 in Dunblane Cathedral Churchyard, Dunblane, Perthshire.9
