Lilias was 49, a farmers wife, and born in Dunblane. Their children were Henry (17), James (14), John (12), Helen (10). The youngest three were listed as scholars. They had 1 house servant and 2 farm servants.2 
1861 CensusWilliam Mcinnes and Lillias Reid appeared on the 1861 Census of Ardoch, Perthshire. William was a farmer of 120 acres and employed 2 men and 1 boy. He was 58 and born in Ardoch. Lillias was 60 and born in Ardoch. The name of the farm was unreadable in the transcription. Their children at home were Helen (20) and Henry (27), as well as Henry's wife Christina Campbell and their daughter Catherine (1).5 
1871 CensusWilliam and Lilias appeared on the 1871 Census of Ardoch, Perthshire. William was 68, a farmer of 125 acres employing 1? labourer and a boy, and was born in Muthill. Lilias was 70 and born in Dunblane. The name of the farm was Carsemeg, according to the transcription. With them were their daughter Helen (30), a general servant, and a farm servant.6 
1881 CensusWilliam and Lillias appeared on the 1881 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Springbank Ter 5. William was a retired farmer, 78, birthplace Muthill. Lillias was 80, birthplace Dunblane. With them was their daughter Helen (36, housekeeper).7 
DeathWilliam died on 3 Jan 1888 in Easter Camps, Carnoch, Ross & Cromarty.
