Research Note | *** The evidence for Flora Ann to be a daughter of Hector McLean & Mary McGillvray is strong but circumstantial. She is enumerated next to them in the 1851/2 census, already married with one child. Her surname was recorded on her children's baptisms and she fits well into Hector & Mary's family structure. ***Update May 2017. I match DNA with a descendant of Flora. |
