Note.Henrietta's reported age is consistently 5-6 years low in almost every document throughout her life. 
(Mentioned) WillShe was mentioned in the will of her father Richard Henry Bonnycastle dated 17 Jul 1837 in London. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Frances all my property ... and after her decease ... to be equally divided amongst my four daughters Charlotte, Henrietta, Catherine Anne and Louisa.2

1861 CensusA & H Dale appeared on the 1861 Census of Kingston City, Frontenac, Ontario, at S. Johnson Street near Bagot, enumerated 14 Jan 1861. They were in Henrietta's mother's household. Arthur was 28, male, married, born in England, religion Church of England, and his occupation was gentleman. Henrietta was 28, married and born in Upper Canada. Their children Frances Elizabeth, Richard Thomas Henry, Henrietta Alice and Louisa Emily were with them but were only identified by initials.8 
1871 CensusArthur and Henrietta Dale appeared on the 1871 Census of Hope Township, Durham County, Ontario, enumerated 2 Apr 1871. Arthur was 36, born in England, occupation Gentleman. Henrietta was 38 and born in Ontario. Their religion was Church of England. With them were children Frances E, Richard T, Henrietta A, Louisa E, Georgiana, and Kathleen. The oldest four attended school.9 
1881 CensusArthur and Henerata [sic] Dale appeared on the 1881 Census of Port Hope, Northumberland County, Ontario, enumerated 4 Apr 1881. Arthur was 47, born in England, religion Church of England, and was a Government Clerk. Henrietta was 49 and born in Ontario. With them were children Frances E, Richard T, Henryatta A, Emily L, Georgenia A, and Esther C.6 
DeathHenrietta died on 17 Mar 1890 in Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario.
Information from registration: Mrs Henrietta Dale, age 57, married, born Kingston Ontario, religion Church of England, cause of death heart disease 6 weeks, registered by John C Gordon 8 April 1890.10 
BurialShe was buried in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.11
