1901 CensusRichard H and Lilly E Dale appeared on the 1901 Census of Ottawa, Ontario, at 21 James Street, enumerated 1901. Richard was 43, born 22 Oct 1857 in urban Ontario, of English origin, religion Church of England, and he was employed as a Railway auditor, working 12 months for $1000. Lilly was 42, born 3 March 1859 in England, and immigrated in 1861. Their children Hilda Geraldine, Henry Oswald, Guy Richard, Joycelyn Beryl and Nelson Digby were living with them.2 
DeathRichard died on 10 Nov 1906 in Ottawa.
Information from the registration: age 49, residence 21 James St, Accountant, married, born Toronto, religion Church of England, cause of death was Typhoid fever 3 weeks, registered by the doctor.8
