1911 CensusThomas and Katherine Young appeared on the 1911 Census of Ilford, Essex, at 102 Cranbrook Road. They had been married 32 years and had 5 children, all of whom were still living. Thomas was 58, an Auctioneer & Surveyor and employer, born in Philpie Airlie, Forfar. Katherine was 58 and born in Islington London. Their children with them were David Fernee Young (26, surveyor, born in Barking) and Florence Wedderburn Young (25, born in Barking). They employed a housemaid and a cook.6
