1871 CensusEliza Fernee and Robert Hart appeared on the 1871 Census of Greenwich, Kent, at 24 William Street, enumerated 2 Apr 1871. Robert was 34, a Coachman, and born in Loughton, Norfolk. Eliza was 34 and born in Highgate, Middlesex. Their daughter Annie was listed as living with them.10 
1881 CensusEliza Fernee and Robert Hart appeared on the 1881 Census of St Mary Islington, Middlesex, at 40 Highbury Grove. Robert was the coachman in a large household. He was 43, a servant, age 43, and born in Helhoughton, Norfolk. Eliza was 41 and born in Highgate, Middlesex. Their children Annie, Archibald, Emily Elizabeth, Joseph and Ada Rosa were living with them.11 
(Widowed) DeathHer husband Robert died on 9 May 1884.12 
1891 CensusEliza Hart appeared on the 1891 Census of Greenwich, London, at 47 Couthurst Road. The Hart family occupied 4 rooms. Eliza was a widow, age 51, a Laundress (neither employer nor employed), and was born in Highgate, Middlesex. Her children Archibald, Emily Elizabeth, Joseph and Jessie Phoebe were with her.13 
1901 CensusEliza Hart appeared on the 1901 Census of Greenwich, London, at 27 Halstow Road. Eliza was a widow, age 63, worked as a Monthly Nurse, and was born in Highgate, London. Her children Annie, Emily Elizabeth and Jessie Phoebe were living with her, as well as two boarders.14 
Passenger ListMrs Eliza Hart was listed on a manifest dated 1 Jun 1904 for the Oroya, arriving in Adelaide [South Australia] from London. She was noted to be 64 years of age.15 
NoteEliza Fernee was widowed and living at Port Pirie, South Australia, as was her sister Ann Mary in 1905.8 
DeathEliza died on 12 Oct 1922 in 4 Lindsell Street, Greenwich, London.
Details from the certificate: age 85, widow of Robert Hart, a Coachman (domestic). The informant was her daughter Jessie Phoebe Dickerson of 51 Brockley Crescent, Brockley S.E.16
