Passenger ListHerbert E Story was listed on a manifest dated 3 Apr 1909 for the SS Mauretania, sailing from Liverpool to New York. He was single, age 20, no occupation noted, last permanent residence London England, nearest relative father Mr Story of 34 Oak Village London NW, final destination Willmette Illinois, did not yet have a ticket there, passage paid by self, in possession of more than $50, had never before been in the US, going to join a friend - Harry Fowler of 1404 Forest Ave, Willmette, Ill; height 5' 10", fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, birthplace Kentish Town, England.5 
(Other) 1910 CensusHerbert Story appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, in the household of his brother Arthur. Herbert was 22, birthplace England, immigrated in 1909, alien status, and worked as a bookkeeper for the rail road.6 
Research Note His parents' census record in 1911 stated that 10 of their 11 children were still living and the one who died is accounted for (Charles Ernest). I have not sighted Herbert beyond the 1910 US census.
