Ellen Quaife, 33, widow, 32 Durham Road, father John Randall, warehouseman;
They were married after banns and the witnesses were John Randall and [Samuel's sister] Florence Annie Fernee.1 
1901 CensusSamuel and Ellen Furnee [sic] appeared on the 1901 Census of Islington, London, at 15 Monsell Road. Samuel was 38, a coachman, and born in Finsbury Park. Ellen was 40 and born in Clerkenwell. With them were [Ellen's] uncle (John Randall, 45, carriage warehouseman) and their children John (19, bakers assistant) and Amy (15.)2 
Research Note Their children in the 1901 census, John and Amy, were Ellen's from her first marriage. 
DeathEllen died in 1912.3
