Final destination was Winterhaven, Florida, passage paid by her sister, has $17, has not ever been to the U.S., going to join her father Frank Sanford of Winterhaven, Fla., has "neurasthenia pharyngeal laryngitis - neuralgia of muscles of heart, extreme nervous debility at present unable to earn a living", 5' 5 1/2", fair complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, and was born in Fenelon Falls (Ont)

1935 CensusC M Sandford and F M Bentley appeared on the 1935 State Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida. They lived inside the city limits. CM was 57 years old, single, born in Canada, naturalized, had a grade school education and was a housekeeper. FM was 62, a widow, birthplace Canada, naturalized, high school education, and was a housekeeper.9 
1940 CensusSisters Frances M Bently and Cora M Sanford appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida, at 212 Sixth Street SW. They lived in the same house as in 1935, which was owned by Frances and valued at $5000. Frances was 66, divorced, had one year of high school education, born in Canada, and was a naturalized citizen. She worked 4 weeks the previous year for $60 and had other income. Cora was 62, single, 8th grade education, immigration status alien, no income.10 
1945 CensusSiblings C Mable and F Herbert Sandford appeared on the 1945 State Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida. Mabel was 68, born in Ontario, had a high school education and was a housewife. Herbert was 70, born in Ontario, had a business college education, and his occupation was painting. With them was their sister Frances M Bentley.11 
DeathCora died in Oct 1963 in Polk County, Florida.12
