They had one son, Harold E, age 2. Also in the household were brother in law Jas Dunnings (born Sept 1887 in PEI, age 23, single, farmer), a lodging labourer (who worked 52 weeks at 70 hours a week and earned $400), and William's brother Albert (age 21, farmer).2 
1916 CensusWilliam and Lucy Hemstreet appeared on the 1916 Census of Township 16 Range 23 W2, Saskatchewan, enumerated 31 Jul 1916. William was 36, of English origin, and a farmer and employer. Lucy was 30 and of Scotch origin. Their children were Harold (8) and Lucy (5) [sic]. The family was Methodist and they were all born in Ontario. With them was one farm labourer.4 
1921 CensusWilliam and Lucy Emma appeared on the 1921 Census of Pense, Saskatchewan, at Section 18 Township 16 Range 23 W2. They owned their 4 room wood house and the family was Presbyterian. William was 46?, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, of Scotch origin, and was a farmer working his own farm. Lucy Emma was 33, born in PEI, parents born in PEI, of Scotch origin. Their children were Harold (12), Edith (7), and Claudia (1).5 
DeathLucy died before 22 Oct 1952.1
