They were married by Rev Andrew MacNab of Underwood and the witnesses were Archie McIntyre & Jennie Matheson, both of Bruce Township.2 
1911 CensusRichard and Mabel Daniel appeared on the 1911 Census of Elderslie Township, Bruce County, Ontario, at Lot 3 Concession 6. Richard was 36, born Jan 1875 in Ontario, of English origin, Canadian, Presbyterian, a was a farmer and employer working on his own account. Mabel was 28, born in Jan 1883 in Ontario, Scotch origin, and Presbyterian. They had one son, Harvey, who was born in May 1911. Lodging with them was Mary Inkster, the widow of Mabel's uncle James Albert Inkster.8 
(Informant) DeathMrs Richard Daniel of Paisley registered the 1913 death of her maternal uncle James Harvey Fidlar.9

1921 CensusRichard and Mabel appeared on the 1921 Census of Arran Township, Bruce County, Ontario. They owned their 6 room brick house and the family was Presbyterian. Richard was 46, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, of English origin, and was a farmer working his own farm. Mabel was 38, born in Ontario, father born in Ontario, mother in England, of Scotch origin. They had two sons, Harvey (10) and Orval (7).11 
(Heir) WillShe was named an heir in the will of Isabella Fidlar dated 22 Jan 1925. The will included the phrase, "unto my niece Mabel Daniel of Sarnia the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) with a recommendation that she expend a portion of it on the education of her son, James Harvey Daniel."12

AnecdoteShortly before her death, Mabel wrote the history of the blue willow platter that has been handed down through the generations.15 
DeathMabel died in 1961.16
