Thomas was 42, born March 1858 in Ohio, father born in Vermont and mother in New York, and he was a farmer who rented his farm. Maggie was born in Oct 1862 in Michigan, father in New York and mother in Ohio, and was the mother of 6 children, all living. Their children John R, Iva F, Nellie C, Edna P, Bessie B and Jeddie S were living with them.6

They owned their $3500 home and had a radio. Thomas was 72, first married at 22, born in Ohio, and was a janitor at a public school. Margaret was 67, first married at 22, born in Michigan, father in New York, mother in Ohio.8
