(Informant) DeathHe registered the 1886 death of his father Frederick Boersch. Albert was noted to be a tailor from Preston.4 
DirectoryAlbert Boersch, tailor, was listed in the 1887 Farmers and Business Directory for the Counties of Waterloo and Wellington, in the town of Preston which had a population of about 1700.5 
DirectoryHe was listed as a Merchant Tailor in Preston, Ontario, in the 1888-1889 Ontario Business Directory.6 
MarriageHe married Lena Hartel on 15 Jul 1891 in Ausable, Wexford County, Michigan.

They were married by Pastor R N Mulholland and the witnesses were George Glass and Sarah Glass, both of Ausable.7 
1900 CensusAlbert and Lena Boersch appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona Territory, at 118 South McCormick. With them was brother in law Jeff D Le Fors (39, born Texas, miner, unemployed 12 months). Albert was 40, born Dec 1859 in Canada, parents born in Germany, immigrated in 1880, naturalized, occupation Tailor, unemployed 2 months in the previous year. Lena was 41, born in Sept 1858 in New York, no children, parents born in Germany. They had been married 9 years and rented their home.3 
1910 CensusAlbert and Magdalena Borrch [sic] appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Twin Falls, Twin Falls County, Idaho, at Main Avenue South, enumerated 3 May 1910. They rented their home, had been married 17 years, first marriage for both, and had no children. Albert was 52, birthplace Canada German, father born in France, mother in Bavaria, immigrated in 1880, naturalization status not recorded, and was a tailor. Magdalena was 52, born in New York, parents born in Germany. With them was one lodger.8 
1910 CensusAlbert and Magdelena Borsch appeared a second time on the 1910 Federal Census of Heyburn Precinct, Lincoln County, Idaho, enumerated 15 Jun 1910. They had been married 18 years, first marriage for both, no children. They owned a farm free (farm schedule 347). Albert was 51, born in Canada-German, parents born in Germany, and was a custom merchant tailor and employer. Albert immigrated in 1880 and was naturalized. Magdelena was 54, born in New York, parents born in Germany, and she worked as a Seamstress in a Tailor shop.9 
Passenger ListAlbert Borsch was listed on a Canadian Immigration Service Form 30 card completed at Seattle and dated 30 Jun 1920. Details from the card: last permanent address 1411 Agate Street, Eugene Oregon, age 61, married, occupation Rancher, birthplace Preston Waterloo County Ontario, US citizen, white, naturalized in Phoenix District Court under Judge Baker. He was a Protestant, previously lived in Guelph Ontario, left Canada at Sarnia Ontario in Dec 1891 to visit wife's people. The object in coming to Canada was to Ranch and he possessed $2000. Destination Victoria BC, health good, traveling on the CPR from Seattle to Victoria, last arrival in the US Dec 1891 at Port Huron Michigan. No objection to immigrant, action taken Landed.10

Note.A newspaper article in the Modesto California News-Herald on 21 May 1927 noted land transfers in Tuolumne. Included was the following:

Albert Borsch has deeded to Lena Borsch, both of Santa Clara county, lot 3 in block number 3 of the townsite of Jamestown. The lot was sold to the latter following a public auction at the place last week.11

Will Open Tailor Shop In Tuolumne
Mr and Mrs Albert Borch of Jamestown, in company with Chas Hammil of Mountain View, paid Tuolumne a recent visit. Borch, who is a tailor of long experience, came to make arrangements for the establishment of a tailor shop. He will occupy the front part of the building opposite Hotel Kimball which was used until recently as a barber shop.12
 
Note.A newspaper article in the Modesto California News-Herald on 24 Sept 1927 noted land transfers in Tuolumne. Included was the following:

Nick Powers, of Tuolumne, has deeded to Albert Borsch, of the same place, lots number 6 and 7 in block [?] of the townsite of Carter. Deed dated September 21 1927.13

Will Make Future Home At San Jose
TUOLUMNE, Feb 21. - (Special) - Mr and Mrs Albert Borsh, who have been conducting a tailoring and cleaning establishment on Chestnut avenue, have gone to San Jose where they will make their future home.
The new law requiring all cleaning establishments to have a concrete building forced them to give up their business here.14
 
1930 CensusAlbert and Lena Borsch appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, at 44 North Twelfth Street. They owned their home worth $5000 and had a radio set. Also at this address was a women paying $12 rent and a woman and her brother paying $25 rent.
Albert was 71, first married at 36, born in Canada, father in France, mother in Germany, and was a Tailor, did not actually work the previous day. He immigrated in 1890 [sic] and was naturalized. Lena was 70, first married at 35, born in New York, parents born in Germany.15 
(Widowed) DeathHis wife Lena died on 4 May 1933.16  
DeathAlbert died on 15 Aug 1939 in Santa Clara County, California.17
