Life Events

Overview
* * * * *

William Sankey Thompson was born in Pennsylvania (probably near New Castle) and moved with his wife Ella to East 111th Street in Cleveland when in his 50s. He generally went by William S but his death certificate gave his full name. The name Sankey is probably a family name farther back. Unfortunately his son James didn't know the name of William's mother when filling out the death cert. His father was also named William and there is a likely looking family in the 1860 census... need some proof before claiming them.
William was a painter.
