Sarah was 34, born 12 April 1866 in rural Ontario, and also literate. Their children were Mary (8), Howard (6), William (4), Frederick (no age), and Euphemia (2.)3

His wife Annie was 43, born May 1868 in Ontario, English, and Presbyterian. They had one son, Peter, 8 years old.6 
(Next-of-kin) CEFDilmon Bricker Stafford was listed as next-of-kin on the Canadian Expeditionary Force attestation papers of William Earl Stafford on 15 Mar 1916. He was listed as father Dilmon Stafford of Port Elgin, Ontario.7 
1921 CensusDilman and Annie appeared on the 1921 Census of Bruce Township, Bruce County, Ontario, at Lot 24? & 23 Concession 14. They owned their 6 room brick veneer house. Dilman was 65, born in Ontario, and farmed his own farm. Annie was 53, born in England, immigrated in 1869. Their children at home were Peter (18, earned $325 on his father's farm) and John (15, student). The family was Presbyterian.8 
DeathDilmon died on 7 Dec 1935 in Saugeen Township, Bruce County, Ontario.

The informant was his nephew Geo Baker of Port Elgin. Burial in Port Elgin.9
