Research Note Siblings Angus, Duncan, and Flora Bell were enumerated twice in the 1891 census, on 23 April in Ontario and on 25 May in Manitoba. It could be that they moved during that time or it could be that their parents had their names recorded as part of the family even though they were living in Manitoba.

1891 CensusAngus, Flora, and Duncan Bell appeared on the 1891 Census of Arthur, Manitoba, enumerated 25 May 1891. They lived in a four room log house. Angus (30) was the head of household, a farmer employing one hand. Flora (26) was noted to be his sister. Duncan (32) was listed as a separate head of household, also a Farmer. They were all born in Ontario, had parents born in Scotland, and were Presbyterian.6 
Research Note According to the book "Roots & Branches of Saugeen," Duncan married and made his home removed from Saugeen.7 
MarriageHe married Annie McNish on 30 Dec 1891 in Sourisford, Manitoba.

They were married at Sourisford by James Gilchrist of Lyleton and the witnesses were Archibald McKinnon of F Lyleton and [his sister] Flora Bell of Sourisford.8 
1901 CensusDuncan and Annie J Bell appeared on the 1901 Census of Manitoba. Duncan was 44, born Dec 5, 1856 in Ontario, Scotch origin, and a Farmer. Annie J was 33, born Nov 1, 1867 in Ontario. Their children were William A (5), Grace N (3), John C (born in 1900). They were Presbyterian.9 
1906 CensusDuncan and Annie appeared on the 1906 Census of Souris, Manitoba, at Section 21 Township 1 Range 27 W1, enumerated 24 Jun 1906. Duncan was 49, born in Ontario. Annie was 38, born in Ontario. Their children were William A (10), Grace A (8), Clifford (5), Frank (3), and Fred (1). Also with them was Arthur Collins (22, servant). The Bells had 10 horses, 7 milk cows, 13 horned cattle, and a hog.
In the next household was Archie McKinnon and family [probably the witness to Duncan and Annie's marriage].
The nearest Post Office was at Coulter.10 
1911 CensusDuncan and Annie appeared on the 1911 Census of Manitoba, at Township 1 Range 27 W1. Duncan was the enumerator for this subdistrict of the census.
Duncan was 53, born Dec 1857 in Ontario, and was a farmer working on his own accord. He had $2000 worth of life insurance. Annie was 43, born Nov 1867 in Ontario. Their children were Willie Alex (15), Grace N (13), John Clifford (10), Frank (7), and Freddie (5). The family was of Scotch origin and Presbyterian. The four eldest children attended school.2 
DeathDuncan died on 24 Dec 1914 in Manitoba.11
