Note.According to a local history book, "Katie married and made her home removed from Saugeen."3 
MarriageShe married John Theodore Thompson on 18 Apr 1900 at Mr J C Shook's residence, Slocan, British Columbia.

They were married by Rev M D McKee and the witnesses were Samuel Boyd and Mary Grace Rowe, both of Slocan.4 
Research Note Why was Catherine in British Columbia? 
1901 CensusJohn T and Catharine Thompson appeared on the 1901 Census of Slocan Riding, British Columbia. John was 23, born Aug 6 1877 in Ontario, occupation Stat Engineer, working 12 months for $700. Catharine was 24, born Feb 7 187- in Ontario. They had one son, Leonard B, age 1, born March 16 1891 [sic]. They were Presbyterian.5 
1921 CensusJohn T and Kate appeared on the 1921 Census of Vancouver, British Columbia, at 2818 Yew Street. They owned their 7 room wood house. John was 44, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, of Irish origin, and was a locomotive engineer earning $2100. Kate was 46, born in Ontario, parents born in Scotland, of Scottish origin. Their children were Leonard (20, apprentice druggist), Lorne (18, apprentice auto mechanic), and Jack (8, school). They were Presbyterian.6 
Research Note Their son Lorne registered his own birth in 1953. On that registration he stated that his mother had had 5 children, of whom 2 were living. There is an entry in the death index for an Archie Gordon Thompson who died in 1907 in Nelson at the age of 2 - quite possibly the 5th child. 
DeathCatherine died on 9 Jan 1932 in Essondale, British Columbia.
I have not seen a copy of the death registration but the text index at Family Search noted that she was 54, born 7 Feb 1877, married, father's name Bell, spouse's name John S Thompson.7
