1880 CensusShe appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of 712 Wells Street, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, enumerated 1 Jun 1880. She was a servant with a grain merchant, the Edward Beebe family. Mary was 19, single, born in Canada, parents born in Scotland.2 
Research Note
I am not sure at all that Mary born c1862 is the daughter of Martin & Mary. The 1870 census does not record relationships, so even though she was enumerated with them, they might not be her parents. Martin & Mary McLean had a daughter Mary who was born c1840 and apparently came with them to the USA and married George Heffern.
However, the 1880 census record is quite possibly for the same c1862 Mary.
