(with Parents) 1861 CensusShe appeared on the 1861 Census of York County, Ontario with her parents. She was 18 years old [as of next birthday] and born in Upper Canada.3 
MarriageShe married Charles McHenry on 6 Dec 1861 in Peel County, Ontario.
Details from the index [original record not yet consulted]: Sarah McLean, 19, birthplace Canada, residence Albion, parents Mathew [sic] & Mary; Charles Mchenry, 23, birthplace England, residence Albion, parents Charles & Elizabeth.4 
Research Note The Martin McLean family immigrated to Illinois about 1866. Don't know if Sarah and Charles did as well. In the marriage index, Sarah's father was transcribed as Mathew but in the 1880 census Lizzie McHenry (age 18, born in Canada) was enumerated with grandparents Martin & Mary. So, Sarah's marriage to Charles McHenry is likely the correct record.
