Research Note There is an entry in the death index in 1879 for a Thomas Maunder, age 40, in Lambeth.7 
1881 CensusRhoda Maunders appeared on the 1881 Census of Lambeth, London, at St Thomas' Hospital. The hospital was situated on Palace Road, Albert Embarnkment. She was 35 years old, a widow, and born in Cheriton Fitz Prince [sic] Devons. Rhoda was one of thirty probationer nurses.8 
1901 CensusRhoda Maunder appeared on the 1901 Census of Bournemouth, Hampshire, at Mont Dore Hotel. The census was taken on March 31st. Rhoda was 50, a widow, worked as a hospital nurse, and was born in Cheriton Fitz Paine Devon.9 
1911 CensusRhoda Maunder appeared on the 1911 Census of Tiverton, Devon, at 2 Wellbrook Street. She lived alone in one room. Rhoda was 65, a widow, professional nurse, birthplace Cheriton Fitzpaine.10
