(Witness) Marriage Elizabeth Stocker witnessed the marriage of James Mortimore and her sister Mary Stocker on 8 Apr 1822 in Broadclyst. Elizabeth signed her name although Mary signed with an X.2

1841 CensusThomas and Elizabeth Pearse appeared on the 1841 Census of Thorverton, Devon, at Donniford Street. Thomas was 65 and of Independent means. Elizabeth was 30, There were two children, John (6) and Walter (1). There was also a female servant, Sharlotte Mortimore (10). All were born in Devon. Note that the 1841 census records ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years, does not record relationships, and only indicates whether or not the person was born in the county.4

1851 CensusElizabeth Pearce appeared on the 1851 Census of Broadclyst, Devon. She was a widow, age 43, Pauper, and was born in Broadclist. She lived with her mother Mary Stocker. Also in the household was Mary Stocker's granddaughter, Elizabeth Coleman (age 6, birthplace Lympsham.)6 
DeathElizabeth died in 1851.7
 
BurialShe was buried on 6 Jul 1851 in Broadclyst. She was 44 years old and of the Town.7
