(with Parents) 1841 CensusMary Hitt appeared on the 1841 Census of St Sidwell Exeter, Devon in the household of her parents. Mary was age 40 and born in the county. Neither exact ages and birthplaces nor relationships or marital status are recorded in the 1841 census, so it's not certain this is who it is. If not their daughter, Mary might be a daughter-in-law or a niece. There is also an Elizabeth Hitt age 6 who may be Mary's daughter.2
