BirthOwen Frederick Moore was born on 10 Jul 1890 in Marseilles, La Salle County, Illinois.3
 
1906 CensusOwen Moore appeared on the 1906 Census of Saskatchewan, at Section 24 Township 34 Range 20 W2, enumerated 24 Jun 1906. He was with his parents and many siblings both older and younger. Owen was 16, immigrated in 1903 (his father and some of the older children came in 1903, his mother and the others in 1904). Their post office address was Natika. The family had 5 horses, 3 milk cows, 6 other cattle, and 9 hogs.4 
1911 CensusHe appeared on the 1911 Census of Saskatchewan, at Township 34 Range 20 W2. He was with his parents Arthur and Elizabeth and five siblings - Walter, Verna, Lillian, Frances, and Matilda. Adjoining them were Owen's married brother Ernest and John with their families. They were all Methodist and farmers. Owen was 21, born in July 1879 in the USA, immigrated in 1904, and naturalized in 1907.5 
1916 CensusOwen Moor [sic] appeared on the 1916 Census of Saskatchewan, at Township 34 Range 20 W2, enumerated 1 Jun 1916. He was with his parents and siblings. Owen was 25, born in the United States, Methodist, immigrated in 1903, naturalized in 1913, and worked farming on his own account.6 
MarriageHe married Florence Wright in Watson, Saskatchewan.1
 
1921 CensusOwen and Flo Moore appeared on the 1921 Census of Watson, Saskatchewan, at First Street West. On the same street lived Flo's sister Ellen Smart. They rented their single family 2-room house for $12 a month. Owen was 31, born in the USA, parents born in England, immigrated in 1905, naturalized in 1914, and did section labour for the railroad, earning $1000 the previous year. Flo was 30, born in England, and immigrated in 1904. They had two children, Walter (3) and Anna (5 months). The family was Methodist.7 
Voters' ListOwen, a barber, and Mrs Owen Moore appeared on the electoral roll in 1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They lived at 267 Kelvin.8 
Voters' ListOwen & Mrs Moore appeared on the electoral roll in 1945 in Winnipeg. They were living at 197 Chalmers Avenue. Owen was a hairdresser, as was his daughter Miss Ellen Moore. Also with them was [Florence's brother] Charles Wright, painter.8 
(Widowed) DeathHis wife Florence died on 24 Nov 1955.2  
MarriageOwen Frederick Moore married Edna Jean Harman.3
 
DeathOwen died on 25 Apr 1969 in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Information from certificate: had lived in Kelowna and B.C. for 1 1/2 years and in Canada for 48 years; address 1621 Harvey Avenue, married to Edna Jean Harman; was born in Marseilles, Illinois on 10 July 1890, age 78, retired for 15 years, occupation not given; his father was Arthur Moore born Halesowen, England; mother Anna Morrall born The Hay, England. The informant was his wife Edna.3

Mr Owen Frederick Moore
Mr. Owen Frederick Moore, formerly of Winnipeg, passed away suddenly April 24, 1969, at Kelowna, B.C. He is survived by his beloved wife, Edna Jean, of Kelowna, B.C., son, Walter Owen, daughter, Ellen Florence Matthews, both of Winnipeg; four sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.9
