1921 CensusOwen and Flo Moore appeared on the 1921 Census of Watson, Saskatchewan, at First Street West. On the same street lived Flo's sister Ellen Smart. They rented their single family 2-room house for $12 a month. Owen was 31, born in the USA, parents born in England, immigrated in 1905, naturalized in 1914, and did section labour for the railroad, earning $1000 the previous year. Flo was 30, born in England, and immigrated in 1904. They had two children, Walter (3) and Anna (5 months). The family was Methodist.9

In honor of Mrs Walter Moore, formerly Miss Annie Enstedt, a recent bride, Mrs Neil Robb entertained at a miscellaneous shower Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs Owen Moore, 593 Henderson highway. Little Joy Skinner presented the gifts to the guest of honor. A buffet supper was served. Guests numbered 25.12

On November 24, 1955, at the residence, Florence beloved wife of Owen F. Moore 273 Kelvin St aged 64 years. Private funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:15 p.m. in Mordue Brothers Funeral Home Interment in Old Kildonan Cemetery.14

Mr Owen Frederick Moore
Mr. Owen Frederick Moore, formerly of Winnipeg, passed away suddenly April 24, 1969, at Kelowna, B.C. He is survived by his beloved wife, Edna Jean, of Kelowna, B.C., son, Walter Owen, daughter, Ellen Florence Matthews, both of Winnipeg; four sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.15
