1881 CensusDavid and Elizabeth G Cumming appeared on the 1881 Census of Tranmere, Cheshire, at 4 Liversage Road. David was 35, a Newspaper Reporter, and was born in Scotland. Elizabeth was 35 and born in Scotland. Their children were Alexander (9), David (6), Elizabeth P (4), Marion A (2), and John Reid (6 weeks). They had one domestic servant.6

She had been married 39 years and was the mother of 7 children, 6 of whom were still living. Her home had 5 rooms. Living with her were her unmarried daughters Elizabeth Paterson (33, elementary teacher) and Marion Alice (31, proof reader). Her son David lived at 12 Kimberley Road.11 
DeathElizabeth died on 5 Jul 1929 in Kimberley Road, Wallasey, Cheshire.12,13
