The witnesses were Ruby Cavelle & Alexander Cameron of Sarawak.1 
1916 Census I read through the 29 pages of the 1916 census that covered Belle Plain and Pense but the McLellans were not recorded. 
1921 CensusAlex and Abbie M McLellan appeared on the 1921 Census of Pense, Saskatchewan. They rented their 2 room wood house and the family was Presbyterian. Alex was 36, born in Ontario, parents born in Scotland, and was a farmer working by letting out. Abbie was 33, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, of Scotch origin. Their children were John H (7), Helen M (4), and William C (3).6
