1891 CensusWallace and Jennie Robertson appeared on the 1891 Census of Owen Sound, Grey County, Ontario, enumerated 6 Apr 1891. The Robertsons lived in a 2 story, 7 room brick house. Wallace was 28, born in Scotland, parents born in Scotland, religion Canada Presbyterian, and was a Ironship builder (driller). Jennie was 26, born in Ontario, father born in Scotland, mother in Ontario, and religion Canada Presbyterian. Their daughter Annie M was six months old.5 
(Informant) DeathWilliam Wallace Robertson registered the death of his mother-in-law Ann Inkster. He was recorded as W Robertson.6 
1901 CensusWm W and Jeanie M Robertson appeared on the 1901 Census of Owen Sound, Grey County, Ontario, at 280 Terrace Street. William was 37 years old, born 29 July 1863 in Scotland, immigrated in 1869, of Scotch origin, Presbyterian, Marine Engineer, employed 12 months with wages of $600, literate. Jeanie was 36, born Sep 18 1864 in rural Ontario, of Scotch origin, Presbyterian. Their children were Annie M (10), Helen B (7), and Madaline (2). Annie and Helen attended school 10 months that year. Also in their household were Jeanie's single sisters Isabella (33, teacher) and Abbie V (28, bookkeeper) Tassie.4

1911 CensusWilliam W Robertson appeared on the 1911 Census of Owen Sound, Grey County, Ontario, at 467 12 St W. He was a widower, age 46, born in July 1865 in Scotland, immigrated in 1878, Scotch origin, Presbyterian, an engineer on a Steamer who worked 52 weeks at 60 hours/wk for $1200. With him were two daughters, Myrtle (20) and Madeline (13) and his sister-in-law [although she was recorded as a sister] Isabel Tassie (40, single, teacher).8 
Residence-Moved Circa 1918, William Wallace Robertson moved to Haney/Maple Ridge, B.C.2 
DeathWilliam died on 8 Aug 1936 in Land Road, Haney (Maple Ridge), British Columbia.
Information from certificate: William Wallace Robertson, residence Land Road, Haney, has been in the Municipality of Maple Ridge and B.C. for 18 years and in Canada for 68 years. Widower, born July 29 1862 in Scotland, age 74 years 10 days, Marine Engineer retired in 1916 after 40 years. Father Alexander Robertson, mother Helen Stuart, both born in Scotland. Informant was daughter Myrtle Robertson McLeod of Haney.2 
BurialHe was buried on 14 Aug 1936 in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Haney, British Columbia.2
