Born June 17th 1888 in Bruce County Ontario, age 79, married, and was a salesman for Western Savings, retiring in 1955 after 20 years. His wife is Alice Marble, father Peter Gilchrist who was born in Ontario, mother's name not known. The informant was his son W.J. Gilchrist of 1910 Jasper Court in Coquitlam, New Westminster.5 
BurialHe was buried on 7 Feb 1968 in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey, British Columbia.5
