1871 CensusWm and Eletheor Olliver [sic] appeared on the 1871 Census of Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario. William was 28, born in England, and was a farmer. Eleathea was 24 and born in Ontario. With them was He?ny (male, age 2, born Ontario). The family was Methodist Episcopal and was enumerated next to William's married sister Eliza McMaster.6 
1881 CensusWilliam and Elethear [sic] appeared on the 1881 Census of Hungerford, Hastings County, Ontario. William was married, age 39, born in England, of English origin, Methodist, and a Labourer. Elethea was 35, married, born in Ontario, of Welsh origin, and Methodist. The children were Henney? (female, 12), Thomas (9), and Willace (6). Living there as well was Francis Burgis, age 21. They were enumerated next to Eleathea's parents.7 
1891 CensusWilliam and Aphia [sic] appeared on the 1891 Census of Seymour Township, Northumberland County, Ontario. The Olliver family lived in a 2 story brick house with 8 rooms. William was 48, born in England, parents born in England, religion Methodist, and was a Farmer. Aphia was 44, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, and religion Methodist. Their children were Hennee? (21), Thomas (19), and Willis (16). There was also a 13-year old maid servant.8 
(Widowed) DeathHis wife Eleathea died on 6 Nov 1898.9  
MarriageWilliam Oliver married Eunice Fralick on 21 Feb 1900 in Campbellford, Northumberland County, Ontario.

1901 CensusWilliam and Eunice appeared on the 1901 Census of Seymour Township, Northumberland County, Ontario. William was age 58, born March 5, 1843 in England, immigrated in 1845, of English origin, Methodist, a Farmer and employer. Eunice was 47, born Feb 17, 1854 in Ontario, English origin and Methodist. With them were Eunice's daughters from her first marriage: Bertha (21), Ethel (17), and Maggie (15) Oliver.11 
1911 CensusWilliam and Eunice appeared on the 1911 Census of Seymour Township, Northumberland County, Ontario, at Lot 5 Concession 6, enumerated 1 Jun 1911. William was age 70, born March 1841 in England, immigrated in 1856, English origin, Methodist, Farmer and employer, held $2000 of life insurance costing $58. Eunice was age 58, born Feb 1853 in Ontario, of American origin, Methodist and held $1000 of life insurance, costing $12. With them was their granddaughter Gladys (9) as well as Eunice's mother Adelia Fraleigh and one farm labourer. [Gladys' parents were deceased]4 
1921 CensusWilliam and Eunice appeared on the 1921 Census of Campbellford, Northumberland County, Ontario, at Hastings Road. They owned their 6 room brick home. William was 79, born in England, immigrated in 1847, naturalized in 1850 [sic - British subjects did not need to naturalize in Canada], and was a retired farmer. Eunice was 68, born in Ontario. They were Methodist.12 
DeathWilliam died on 16 Mar 1930 in Garry Street, Campbellford, Ontario.
Information from register: William Oliver, English, married, born England on March 5 [no year given], age 88 yr 11 days, Retired Farmer, resided at place of death 14 years, in Canada 74 years, parents born England [names not given], buried Belleville Ont on March 18, informant wife Mrs Wm Oliver of Campbellford.13
