1901 CensusFranklin and Lulu appeared on the 1901 Census of Havelock, Peterborough County, Ontario. Franklin was 28, born 12 June 1872 in Ontario, of Scotch origin, Methodist, and was a merchant working on his own account. Lulu was born Mar 26 1876 in Ontario, of English origin, and Methodist.5 
1911 CensusFrank and Lula appeared on the 1911 Census of Havelock, Peterborough County, Ontario, at 238 Matheson. Frank was 38, born June 1873 in Ontario, of English origin, and he was an insurance agent working on his own account. How much insurance he held was not recorded, although that was a column on the 1911 census. Lula was 34, born in April 1877 in Ontario, and of English origin. They were Methodist. With them was cousin Josephine Oliver (age 7, born in Ontario, attended school). [Josephine's parents were deceased]6

1921 CensusFrank and Lula appeared on the 1921 Census of Brighton, Northumberland County, Ontario. With them was Frank's father John (age 79, widower). They rented their home for $14. Frank was 48, born in Ontario, father born in Ontario, mother in England, and was a hardware store merchant. Lula was 44, born in Ontario as were her parents. The family was Methodist.8
