BaptismHe was baptized on 30 Jul 1865 in Kentish Town, St Pancras, Middlesex. He was the son of Thomas, a carman, & Mary Fernee of Grapes Cottages. His brother George was baptised the same day.1 
(with Parents) 1871 CensusHe appeared on the 1871 Census of St Pancras, Middlesex with his parents. Stephen was 8, a scholar, and born in St Pancras.2 
1881 CensusHe appeared on the 1881 Census of St Pancras, Middlesex, at 89 Leighton Road. Stephen Ferney was 18, a Journeyman Butcher, and was born in London, Middlesex. He and two other journeyman butchers were living with a master butcher's family.3 
MarriageHe married Lucy Strong on 5 Oct 1890 in St Barnabas Church, St Pancras, London.

1891 CensusStephen Fernee and Lucy Strong appeared on the 1891 Census of St Pancras, London, at 31 Leverton Street. Stephen was 28, worked as a Butcher, and was born in St Pancras, London. Louse [sic] was 23 and born in Bristol, Gloucester.6 
1901 CensusStephen Fernee and Lucy Strong appeared on the 1901 Census of St Marylebone, London, at 5 Little Barlow Street. Stephen was 38, a Journeyman Butcher, and was born in Kentish Town, London. Lucy was 34 and born in Bristol. There were four families at this address and the Fernees occupied 2 rooms. Their children Stephen Lewis and Florence were living with them.7 
1911 CensusStephen and Lucy Fernee appeared on the 1911 Census of Marylebone, London, at 30 Blandford Street. The family lived in 2 rooms. Stephen was 48, a Butchers Assistant, and was born in Kentish Town. Lucy was 45, born in Bristol Gloucester, had been married 20 years, and was the mother of 2 children, both still living. With them were their children Stephen Lewis (17, Lift Boy in drapery stores) and Florence (15, assistant Blouse Maker.)8 
DeathStephen died circa 1916 in Marylebone RD.9
