MarriageHe married Mary Smith on 4 Mar 1849 in St Mary Islington, Middlesex.

Note.There was a marginal "P" by the register entry for daughter Mary's baptism in 1855 which probably signifies 'pauper.5
1861 CensusThomas Fernee and Mary Smith appeared on the 1861 Census of Kentish Town, St Pancras, Middlesex, at 2 Grapes Cottages. Thos Furney was 37, a Carter, and born in Highgate. Mary was 30 and born in Watford, Herts. Their children Robert, Ann, Mary, Jane and Thomas were with them.6 
1871 CensusThomas Fernee and Mary Smith appeared on the 1871 Census of St Pancras, Middlesex, at 2 Grapes Court. Thomas was 46, a Carman in General for contractor, and was born in Highgate. Mary was 41 and born in St Pancras. Their children Robert, Ann, Jane, Thomas, Stephen, George and Joseph were living with them.7 
Death RegistrationHis death was registered in the quarter ending Jun 1877 in Pancras RD.8
