Mary Fernee, of No 2, Grapes-place, deposed that she was outside the prisoner's door at a quarter to four on Saturday afternoon, and heard cries for help coming from the prisoner's house. [testifying in Marylebone police court re a man assaulting his wife - they also lived at No. 2, Grapes-place, Kentish-town]7
