Sylvester was 31 years old, a coal porter, and was born in Lambeth. Emily was 26, employed as a laundress, and born in Pancras. Their two children were William (2) and Albert (1 month.)3 
1901 CensusSylvester and Emily appeared on the 1901 Census of St Pancras, London, at 63 Peckwater Street. Sylvester was 44, worked as a Coal Carter, and was born in Lambeth, London. Emily was 36 and born in St Pancras. Their children were William (12), Albert (10), Lilian (7), Ernest (5), Herbert (3), and Robert (2).
The other family at 63 Peckwater was Emily's widowed sister Sarah Denny and her five chldren.2 
DeathSylvester died between 1906 and 1911.
His wife was a widow in the 1911 census.4
