BaptismRobert Fernee was baptized on 4 Nov 1834 in St Michael Highgate, Middlesex. He was the son of John, a milkman, & Mary Fernee of Highgate.1 
(with Parents) 1841 CensusHe appeared on the 1841 Census of St Pancras, Middlesex in the household of his parents. Robt was 8 and born in the county.2 
1851 CensusHe appeared on the 1851 Census of Kentish Town, St Pancras, Middlesex, at 17 Grapes Place. Robert was age 14, a Carman, and born in St Pancras. He was a visitor to the Standage family which included son John, also a Carman. The writing was very poor - Robert's surname could be interpreted as Finner, Furner, etc and it is possible that this is not him. His father and siblings are at 12 Grapes Place.3 
MarriageHe and Sarah Stevens had a common-law marriage.4,5
 
1861 CensusRobert and Sarah Furney appeared on the 1861 Census of St Pancras, Middlesex, at 19 Upper Mansfield Place. Robert was 23, a Carman, and born in St Pancras, Middlesex. Sarah was 23 and born in St Pancras. Their children were Sarah (4), Mary Ann (2), and Chas (5 months.)4 
Death RegistrationHis death was registered in the quarter ending Mar 1869 in West London RD.6
