Research Note Siblings Angus, Duncan, and Flora Bell were enumerated twice in the 1891 census, on 23 April in Ontario and on 25 May in Manitoba. It could be that they moved during that time or it could be that their parents had their names recorded as part of the family even though they were living in Manitoba.

1891 CensusAngus, Flora, and Duncan Bell appeared on the 1891 Census of Arthur, Manitoba, enumerated 25 May 1891. They lived in a four room log house. Angus (30) was the head of household, a farmer employing one hand. Flora (26) was noted to be his sister. Duncan (32) was listed as a separate head of household, also a Farmer. They were all born in Ontario, had parents born in Scotland, and were Presbyterian.6 
(Witness) Marriage Flora Bell witnessed the marriage of her brother Duncan Bell and Annie McNish on 30 Dec 1891 in Sourisford, Manitoba.7 
(with Mother) 1901 CensusFlora appeared on the 1901 Census of Saugeen, Bruce West, Ontario in the household of her widowed mother Catharine. She was 37, single, and born 9 January 1863 in rural Ontario.2 
(Sibling) 1911 CensusFlora appeared on the 1911 Census of Saugeen Township, Bruce County, Ontario, as a sister in the household of Alexander Bell. She was 47, single, and born in January 1862 in Ontario.8

1921 CensusFlora appeared on the 1921 Census of Saugeen Township, Bruce County, Ontario, at Lot 16 Concession 5. She was 57, single, born in Ontario, parents born in Scotland. Also in the household were her unmarried brothers Alexander (63) and Archibald (53), who farmed, and her mother Catherine (87). They spoke Gaelic as well as English and were Presbyterian.10 
Note.After their parents died, Sandy, Flora, and Archie managed the farm. The farm was sold in 1927.9 
DeathFlora died on 10 Dec 1936 in Port Elgin, Bruce County, Ontario.
Details from the certificate: Flora Bell, age 73 years 11 months 1 day, single, born in Ontario on Jan 9, 1863, housewife, lived in Port Elgin for 6 years, father John Bell, mother Catherine McKinnon, both born in Scotland. The informant was her brother A K Bell of Port Elgin.1
