Information from death certificate: Fraser McQuarrie, residence 87 Grenadier Road, Toronto, single, born Port Elgin, Ontario on 24 September 1889, age 47, cutter in ladies wear industry, last worked 5 years previously, father James McQuarrie born Isle of Man, Scotland, mother Mary McLean born Vaughan County. The informant was his sister Mrs Gibson of 87 Grenadier Road. Burial in Port Elgin, 3 April 1936.7 
BurialHe was buried on 3 Apr 1936 in Port Elgin.7 
Note.Veterans Affairs records indicated that Bomb. Fraser McQuarrie died 31 March 1936. Next of kin was his sister Miss Florence McQuarrie of 87 Grenadier Road, Toronto. It was noted that his was not a pensionable case.8
