Marriage | He married Mary Capel on 30 Mar 1795 in Bleadon. Details from the record: John Parker, abode Bleadon; Mary Capel, Bleadon; witnesses: Joseph Tripp and George Parker.2 |
Research Note | John and Mary appear to have 3 sons whose baptism records have not been found. John and Mary were the only Parker family having children in the years that their children were baptised in Lympsham. The three are: Charles, born about 1820 in Lympsham. His mother Mary was with him in the 1851 census so the surety that he belongs to them is good. James, born about 1810 in Lympsham. He was a blacksmith. His marriages took place before father's names were recorded. George, who was 25 in the 1841 census and died before the 1851. He lived in Hutton and was a blacksmith. On his marriage record, his father was stated to be John Parker, a Blacksmith. ***I am adding the three to this family and am definitely open to comments as well as corroborating or refuting evidence***. |
